Virgin Blogger

Hi,
This is my first blog ever. I somehow felt the urge to blog cuz now I've finished uni and free from the perils of an evil thing called 'thesis'. Its a good but strange feeling to have written over 600 pages of material about something (the safety of playground equipment), feel satisfied and know that it MAY come to some good use in the real world.

So I guess in blogs, you talk about things you've done or what you think....so I guess I'd better start somewhere. For the last 6 days, I was leading on a study camp held at Galston Gorge (nth of Hornsby) run by an organisation called 'Crusaders', a Christian organisation. 110 kids, under 20 leaders and plenty of mayhem. I couldn't get over the fact that a majority of the kids owned laptops and they most of them brought 'suitcases' of course work and textbooks with them to use. Pretty wild stuff huh...i guess its what happens when you go to a private school.

Post study camp, I've been having to deal with a sore throat and exhaustion. So, its been a cruzy few days. Today, I got 2 DVD's out, Jarhead and Walk the Line. I got to watch Walk the Line and found it really cool and insightful. If you don't know, its about Johnny Cash's life...really remarkable guy. There were some really sad bits too, kinda made me feel all sad inside and sympathised with the dude. I also was planning a holiday in September, but more about that later.

'Nuff said for now.
